Turkey will remain committed to maintaining strong relations with Somalia.
Ibrahim Mete Yagli, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, announced this on Wednesday when he held discussions with Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Turkey for the support offered to Somalia.
On his part, Ambassador Yagli was grateful for the warm welcome he has been accorded since reporting to Mogadishu as Turkey’s new envoy.
