Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, together with State Minister Ali Omar, welcomed Turkish Ambassador Alper Aktaş at the ministry’s offices in Mogadishu om Tuesday.
The Turkish Ambassador offered condolences on the passing of the Fiqi’s mother, Faadumo Shirdoon Ducaale.
Foreign affairs minister Fiqi expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Turkish ambassador’s solidarity during this difficult time, acknowledging the close relationship between Turkey and Somalia.
