Mehmet Yilmaz, Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in Mogadishu.
Ambassador Yilmaz visited Mohamed Abdirizak toured the new foreign affairs minister on Thursday, December 3.
During the visit, Ambassador Yilmaz congratulated Abdirizak on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
They discussed several components of the bilateral relations between the East African nation and its European ally.
Abdirizak took over from Ambassador Ahmed Isse Awad who was sacked late last month after denying an official statement from the foreign affairs ministry on the Ethiopian crisis.
