The Turkish Director of Communications held talks with his counterpart from Somalia on December 15.
Fahrettin Altun, Turkey’s Director of Communications, hosted Abdirashid Hashi, the Somali Director of Communications at the Directorate of Communications offices.
During their meeting, the two directors of communications discussed several issues touching on their respective nations.
Altun said that the Turkish government remains committed to strengthening relations with Somalia.
Specifically, he mentioned communication and public diplomacy as the two fields that warrant more focus from the governments of Somalia and Turkey.
He thanked Hashi for paying him a visit.
