Officials from the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu traveled to Puntland to visit the Garacad Port.
The Embassy officials visited the port, which the Turkish Construction Co. also known as TTT, recently finished constructing.
Members of the local community provided funding for the construction of the port.
Turkish officials visited it on May 6.
Garacad Port is a major piece of investment in Puntland. It is expected to play a crucial role in boosting the regional economy.
