Twenty-One Terrorists Killed as SNA Repel Attack at Hawadley Army Base

Twenty-one terrorists lost their lives when Somali National Army (SNA) repelled an attack at an army base in Hawadley.

Al-Shabaab terrorists attacked the army base earlier on Tuesday.

Reports from government circles indicate that five army personnel were killed in the ensuing gunfire.

Col. Abshir Abshir Mohamud Mohamed Shataqey, a commander of the Somali National Army (SNA), was among those killed in the incident.

Gen. Odawa Yusuf Rageh, the SNA chief, confirmed the incident during a press briefing.
