Two Al-Shabaab fighters lost their lives in a military raid that took place in Baidoa on Sunday.
The military carried out an operation in the area earlier today.
Lately, the military has ramped up the offensives against Al-Shabaab in the region.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has also spent a considerable amount of time in the region in recent days.
A motorcycle belonging to the terrorists was also seized in today’s operation.
Additionally, the government troops confiscated an assault rifle from one of the terrorists’ hideouts in Saydhelow, which is around 35km to the east of Baidoa.
