Somali National Army (SNA) forces killed two Al-Shabaab militants in Bajeelo.
Members of the military were in the region carrying out an operation that led to the killing of the two terrorists.
Local residents joined SNA soldiers in the operation.
Specifically, the operation targeted Al-Shabaab militants who are renowned for extortion in Bajeelo, which is in Hobyo district, Mudug.
Hashi Garad Ali, a well-known Al-Shabaab extortionist, was among the militants apprehended in Monday’s operation.
