Reports show that government forces in Afgooye District, Lower Shabelle killed two civilians last night.
While speaking to the media, residents said that government troops killed the two civilians while they were walking past Hotel Ismail, which is right in the middle of the district.
Their deaths occurred when they went into a heated conflict with the soldiers, who then shot them to death.
Afterward, the assailants fled the scene.
Thereafter, authorities removed the bodies from the scene before rushing them to the main hospital in the district.
The incident happened barely one day after a massive public demonstration in Mogadishu to protest the shooting to death of two other civilians by a government soldier in Bondere District.
