On Monday, two civilians were killed as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded in the southwestern parts of the country.
Authorities have confirmed that a bomb exploded in Wanlawayn District.
The district, which lies around 90kms to the southwest of Mogadishu, was the site of a horrible scene on August 23.
Reports indicate that the explosion took place near a police station in the district.
Several people were also reported wounded in the incident. They were rushed to the nearest hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
No group has claimed responsibility for the latest deadly explosion in Somalia.
