Two people died in clashes between police officers and soldiers in Puntland.
Authorities have identified the two who died in Friday’s clashes as soldiers with the Puntland Security Forces (PSF).
The clashes, which kicked off on June 10, left residents confused and scampering for safety.
The reasons for the clashes between the two security factions remain unclear.
However, reports indicate that fighting erupted the moment some police officers approached a PSF camp in Bosaso.
A fierce shootout then broke out between them.
Two other soldiers were injured apart from those who died. Reports also indicate that some civilians were injured in the clashes too.
