Two federal legislators visited Gedo on Thursday to deliver a donation of food supplies to drought-stricken families.
The MPs who took it upon themselves to deliver the food donations were Mursal M. Khaliif and Abdimalik Abdallah.
Khaliif and Abdallah are House of the People (Lower House) legislators.
They were in the company of the Deputy Director of the Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) during the food distribution exercise.
The three leaders distributed the supplies to residents of Elwak town, Gedo.
