Two Killed as Suicide Attack Rocks Mogadishu

Two people lost their lives during a suicide attack carried out in Mogadishu on Thursday, August 19.

A security official confirmed that the incident took place in the nation’s capital near the offices of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).

According to the source, a soldier was one of the people killed in the blast.

Somali Police Force (SPF) and other security agencies have already launched investigations into the incident.

Preliminary reports indicate that the attack occurred when a person wearing a suicide vest exploded near the NISA headquarters.

Several people were injured in the incident.

There has been no claim of responsibility by any group in the East African nation.
