Two people were killed on October 16 in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in central Somalia.
According to sources, the bomb was detonated at a restaurant inside a police station in Baledweyne, central Somalia.
At the time, the restaurant was playing host to several senior government officials.
A police officer who spoke to the media confirmed that the blast left two people dead and several injured.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that the Mayor of Feer-Feer District in the region could be among those who lost their lives.
