Two people were killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack along Somalia’s border with Kenya.
In the incident, which took place on Thursday morning, a busy teashop that is popular with government soldiers was hit by a massive IED explosion.
Authorities and witnesses confirmed that two people died on the spot.
Three people were injured and rushed to the nearest health facilities in El-Wak town for medical attention.
No group has claimed responsibility for the latest deadly terror attack in Somalia.
Furthermore, local authorities and military officers are yet to confirm whether any soldier was killed or injured in the morning incident.
