Two agents working for the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) lost their lives in a road accident in Middle Shabelle.
The agents were traveling in a military vehicle that overturned just outside Bal’ad town.
Eight of their colleagues were a bit fortunate to escape with injuries.
Some eyewitnesses told the media that the vehicle was transporting the intelligence officers to Bal’ad from Mogadishu.
They were part of the ongoing offensive by the federal government against Al-Shabaab terrorists in the region.
Mahad Mohamed Salah, the NISA Director, is in the region too for the same purpose.
