Two people died when Kenyan jets attacked Somali towns on Saturday. The attacks targeted Saakow and Salagle.
Saakow and Salagle have been under the control of Al-Shabaab militants for ages.
Preliminary reports indicate that the attacks left casualties and numerous damages.
The overnight attack left a Hormuud telecommunication center in the region extensively damaged.
Insiders intimated that the airstrikes were necessitated by the increased activities of Al-Shabaab adherents in northeastern Kenya.
