Two police chiefs were arrested following the murder of Hodon District Commissioner in Mogadishu.
The officers were arrested following the shocking murder of DC Abdihakim Dhagajuun in the nation’s capital.
Dhagajuun was reportedly murdered following a gunfight involving his security guards and officers from Somali Police Force (SPF).
The Hodon DC had just returned to the country following his trip to Turkey, where he had traveled to for medical treatment for injuries sustained in an Al-Shabaab attack.
Dhagajuun was injured in an Al-Shabaab attack in November 2020.
The officers arrested over his murder are both from Hodon.
