Two pregnant women were shot and killed in unclear circumstances in Mogadishu on the morning of February 14.
According to reliable sources, the two women work for the Ministry of Defense.
The incident took place in Mogadishu’s Dayniile District on Sunday morning.
They were accosted when they were just about to board an auto-rickshaw to travel to their workplace.
Eyewitnesses revealed that one other woman was injured.
The women worked at the defense ministry as cleaners.
The identity of the person or people who killed the two women remains unknown but Al-Shabaab has a reputation for killing government employees.
