Two Somali legislators were injured in a suicide car bomb attack.
The legislators suffered the injuries in a vehicle based improvised explosive device (VBIED) attack on Friday morning.
They were identified as Abdisalam Haji Dhabancad and Senator Abdi Qaybdid.
Dhabancad sustained a minor injury to his hand.
On the other hand, Qaybdid was injured on his head.
The two legislators added that their injuries were mostly from rocks and corrugated iron sheets falling all over the place from the blast.
There have been no reports on further injuries.
Police and the local administration have launched investigations into the incident.
