Ugandan Soldier Kills ATMIS Colleagues in Somalia

A Ugandan soldier reportedly killed colleagues who are part of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) forces.

The identity of the soldiers has not been revealed.

Felix Kulaigye, a spokesperson for the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF), confirmed the shocking incident.

Kulaigye stated that one soldier shot and killed three of his Ugandan colleagues on Monday.

The first victim was shot in the chest while the second and third were shot in the head and back thrice and once respectively.

Authorities have already arrested the soldier who killed his colleagues and launched investigations into the matter.
