A couple of Ugandan soldiers have been jailed over a deadly terror attack at a military base in Somalia.
A Ugandan court found the two senior Ugandan People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) responsible for the attack that led to more than 100 deaths.
The court found them guilty of failure to warn their colleagues of the impending attack.
Apparently, both officers had intel on the looming attack. However, they sat on the Intel instead of sharing it with other soldiers.
Further, the court did not take kindly to reports that the two then took off in the face of ambush.
