The United Kingdom Ambassador to Somalia has made his maiden visit to Garowe.
Amb. Mike Nithavrianakis visited Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland, on Saturday.
The UK diplomat had an opportunity to meet and hold talks with Puntland’s President Said Abdullahi Deni.
He congratulated Deni for leading Puntland in hosting successful local council polls.
Deni and Amb. Nithavrianakis discussed the next step of the electoral process.
They discussed the Las Anod skirmishes too and other critical issues of national importance.
