The United Kingdom has promised to continue supporting the ongoing war on Al-Shabaab terrorists in Somalia.
James Heappey, UK’s Minister of Armed Forces, offered this assurance on Thursday.
Heappey was speaking during his meeting with Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in London.
The minister reaffirmed the UK’s continued support to the Somali National Army (SNA) and the various agencies fighting Al-Shabaab militants in the East African nation.
Further, they also touched on the forthcoming Somalia Security Conference in New York.
