The United Kingdom is ready to help Somalia to reduce the population of children who are not going to school.
This emerged on Monday following a meeting between ministers from Somalia and the UK.
Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, Somalia’s Minister of Education, met with Andrew Mitchell in London.
Abdulkadir is in London to attend the Education World Forum. His meeting with Mitchell, who is the UK Minister of State for Development and Africa, took place on the margins of the forum.
They discussed wide-ranging strategies and partnerships that would improve access to education for all children who should be in school in Somalia.
They both vowed to work together to reduce number of children not attending school in Somalia.
