United Kingdom – Cranfield University in the UK has announced the launch of the Abdinasir Abdirahman Aviation in Africa Scholarship.
The institute launched th scholarship in memory of its late alumnus, who was brutally killed in Mogadishu in 2024.
Offered by the Cranfield Centre for Air Transport Management, the scholarship aims to support the growth and development of the aviation sector across Africa.
The university honors the legacy of Abdirahman, whom it described as a passionate advocate for aviation progress on the continent.
The initiative reflects Cranfield’s commitment to global impact and to nurturing future leaders in air transport.
