UN Commends Humanitarians for Supporting Drought Response Activities in Somalia

The United Nations has commended humanitarians for supporting drought response activities in Somalia.

Through the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the UN issued a detailed report dated on the ongoing humanitarian situation in Somalia.

In its report, the UN highlighted the incredible contributions of local and international humanitarians in Somalia.

According to the UN, the humanitarian interventions have reached close to 4 million people around the country thus far.

The organization appealed to more humanitarians to support Somalia further.

The East African nation is experiencing one of its worst droughts and humanitarian crises of the last 40 years.
