African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops donated water to a camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Beledweyne.

The ATMIS contingent responsible for donating the water on August 4 was from Djibouti.

Apart from clean water, they also delivered an assortment of medical items to the IDPs at the Beledweyne camp.

The IDPs at the Teehan Camp in Beledweyne also received therapeutic foods.

In recent times, ATMIS forces from different units have been donating water, food, medical supplies, and non-food items to the IDPs living close to their bases.
