The United Nations has confirmed that an incident occurred with one of its helicopters operating in Mogadishu.
On Thursday, the UN confirmed reports that one of its helicopters crash landed in a region that’s under the control of Al-Shabaab terrorists.
According to the UN, “response measures” are currently underway.
Local media reported that the UN suspended all flights to the region around Dhusamareb where the incident took place on Wednesday.
