A leading United Nations envoy met with Somalia’s Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation to discuss the country’s electoral agreement.
Catriona Laing, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the UN, discussed this matter with Interior Minister Ahmed Fiqi.
Mostly, Laing and Fiqi focused their discussions on the electoral agreement reached during the last National Consultative Council (NCC).
They discussed the country’s constitutional review process, which has been ongoing for several years now, in their meeting too.
