A human rights expert from the United Nations has concluded her official visit to Somalia.
Ms. Isha Dyfan, the UN Independent Expert on Human Rights, has been on a five-day official tour of the East African nation.
She concluded her visit on Saturday, April 2.
Dyfan had been in Somalia to assess the human rights situation in the East African nation.
During her visit, Ms. Dyfan held discussions with several senior officers within the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
One of her meetings was with Hanifa Mohamed, the Minister of Women and Human Rights Development.
She followed this up with a meeting with Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the Minister of Justice.
