The United Nations has received a climate change plan from Somalia.
On Friday August 6, Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi M. Gulaid announced that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) had submitted its plan to the global body.
“It gives me great delight to announce that Somalia has already submitted its Nationally Determined Contributions to the UN,” Gulaid stated.
The new plan is in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
Nevertheless, the Deputy Prime Minister has not revealed information or the exact specifics that the new plan contains.
