The United Nations has reassured Somalia of continued support as the nation pursues peace, stability, and development.
Catriona Laing, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to Somalia, offered this reassurance on Tuesday.
She spoke during a meeting held in Mogadishu with Daud Aweis, the federal Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism.
Amb. Laing added that the UN would remain committed to helping the East African nation enjoy stability and economic development.
