The United Nations is committed to supporting delivery of justice services in Somalia.
This emerged on Monday during the 5th Annual Somali Prosecutors’ Conference in Mogadishu.
Officials from the UN Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) at the conference promised to support services designed to speed up the pursuit and delivery of justice in the country.
The UNSOM officials spoke in the presence of attorney-generals, prosecutors, and other judicial professionals who attended the conference.
They offered the support that vulnerable people in areas liberated from Al-Shabaab need.
