United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has delivered a consignment of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Ministry of Health in Somaliland.
A communiqué from the global organization stated that the consignment is designed to help Somalia to curb the spread of the virulent disease around the country.
UNFPA said that the donation of the PPEs was its contribution to support the incredible work frontline health workers in Somaliland are doing.
Furthermore, the organization made the donation with the assistance of Finland’s Physicians for Social Responsibility.
Frontline health workers in Somaliland need support to respond to the pandemic efficiently and prevent its spread.
