The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has donated 14 metric tons of maternal and reproductive health kits to Garowe.
UNFPA officials dispatched a planeload of the kits to Garowe on Tuesday.
The officials added that the kits would benefit more than 30,000 women and girls who have been affected by the clashes in the Sool region.
They also mentioned that the distribution of the kits would not stop any soon.
Instead, the ongoing distribution of maternal and reproductive health kits would also be of great benefit to another 20,000 women and girls.
