The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) launched the Somali Youth (SoYo) Fellowship Programme.
UNFPA announced the launching of the programme on Thursday.
Niyi Ojuolape, the UNFPA Resident Representative for Somalia, was at the launch ceremony.
He said that the programme would help to empower and shape the next generation of Somali leaders.
Ojuolape stated that the programme would enable youths to be the driving force for the sustainable development of the nation.
