The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) reiterates its commitment to the welfare of pregnant women in Somalia.
UNFPA offered this assurance on Friday during the International Women’s Day.
In its statement, UNFPA assured pregnant women in Somalia of its support for their health and welfare.
The global organization added that it would agitate for the health and welfare of Somalia’s pregnant women from conception to delivery.
It added that all Somali women deserve proper care in their journey to motherhood.
