The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recently conducted a training workshop in Benadir on preventing and addressing aid diversion.
The 2-day training session sought to enhance local capacity to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches its intended beneficiaries.
It also seeks to implement effective measures against misuse or misallocation of resources.
The training covered topics such as monitoring and reporting mechanisms, accountability systems, and best practices for safeguarding aid delivery.
