The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) leads a campaign to get 300,000 Somali children to the classroom.
UNICEF announced this program on Monday.
The organization is working closely with the Ministry of Education to ensure that more children in Somalia are able to receive a quality education.
Currently, only 30 percent of Somali children are in school.
The Education Above All Foundation (EAAF) has joined the efforts of UNICEF and the education ministry in running the ‘Educate A Child’ program.
