The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is to lead efforts to renovate Garowe General Hospital.
UNICEF made this announcement earlier today.
It added that the renovation and construction of a few departments at the hospital is possible through partnership with KfW Development Bank.
Garowe General Hospital will now have an operation theatre unit.
It would also have an outpatient unit, oxygen plant room, power supply unit, and emergency unit.
The hospital would boast of maternity, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and catering units too once the renovations are complete.
