The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has scaled up nutrition emergency responses in Somalia.
UNICEF took this initiative in various regions in the East African nation.
These include Las Anod, Taleeh, Hudun, and Buuhoodle.
UNICEF will also treat children for severe and acute malnutrition in the four regions.
Further, the organization is to provide micronutrients, counsel parents, and train health workers.
