UNICEF’s Program in Somalia Receives Fresh Funding from International Partners

A program by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Somalia has benefited from a fresh round of funding from international partners.

On January 6, UNICEF acknowledged the injection of funds from BMZ Bund and KfW Development Bank.

The funds are designed for specific projects to improve learning, health, and nutrition of children in the East African nation.

Furthermore, the funds are for improving hygiene in Somali children.

UNICEF also announced that it would be relying on the funding to “build resilience in children and Somali families” to bring them closer to a brighter future.
