At least two people were rushed to hospital for medical treatment after unidentified men threw a hand-held grenade at a Sool voter registration center.
The incident took place during the ongoing voter registration exercise in Somaliland.
Eligible voters have been registering in Sool and Sanaag for quite some time.
On January 12, the exercise almost turned ugly for residents of Las-Anod who were at the nearby registration center.
On Tuesday afternoon, voters dashed for safety when the hand-held grenade exploded injuring two people in the process.
Those who hurled the grenade at innocent voters are yet to be arrested or identified.
Similarly, authorities in either Somaliland or Puntland are yet to issue any comment about the incident that left voters reeling in shock.
