The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) launched the first cohort of the EDU Somalia Network.
UNIDO launched the cohort on last week on Monday.
It stated that the launch was only possible through close cooperation with other organizations, especially the European Union (EU) Delegation in Somalia.
EU funded the project.
Consequently, the EDU Somalia Network will now have several satellite incubators and distance centers around the country.
Examples of areas where it will be in Bosaso, Kismayo, and Baidoa.
Thirty candidates will receive training at the centers before presenting their business pitches.
