United Nations has announced that it will take part in the investigations conducted jointly by Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya to discover what caused the Bardale plane crash.
The news comes barely a day after the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) through President Mohamed Farmaajo called Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The call between the two presidents was designed to assure Kenya of Somalia’s innocence in the matter.
Further, President Farmaajo’s administration assured Nairobi of “swift investigations” by Somali authorities regarding the crash.
Yesterday, AMISOM also announced that it was “welcoming” the joint investigations by the governments of the three Horn of Africa neighbors.
