A top United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) visited Kenya to hold discussions with the Minister of Defense.
Kiki Gbeho, the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, paid a courtesy call on Aden Duale, Kenya’s defense minister.
Gbeho and Duale met in Nairobi on Saturday.
They exchanged ideas on the mandate of UNSOM. Furthermore, they agreed to strengthen cooperation between Kenya and UNSOM in areas of mutual concern.
