The United States and the United Kingdom are ready to collaborate to improve the security and development of Somalia.
Richard H. Riley and Mike Nithavrianakis agreed on this when they met in Mogadishu on Monday.
Riley and Nithavrianakis met in their capacities as the US Ambassador and the UK Ambassador to Somalia respectively.
The meeting was the first one between the two since Riley assumed his role as the US Ambassador.
They stated that their respective nations are ready to support Somalia to be a prosperous nation for its people.
