A delegation from the United States visited the President of Somaliland.
President Muse Bihi Abdi received the US delegation in his office in Hargeisa on Saturday, August 13.
The delegation comprised ex-military officers from the US as well as diplomats and officials from the Heritage Foundation.
He briefed them on the different areas where Somaliland has made progress over the years.
President Bihi also spoke about the democratic process in Somaliland, which has allowed leaders to transfer power peacefully and smoothly to their successors in previous elections.
He also thanked the delegation for visiting Somaliland.
