On Thursday, the US Embassy in Mogadishu led the nation in remembering the innocent individuals who lost their lives in the deadly attack five years ago.
In its statement, the US Embassy reaffirmed its commitment in standing with the government and people of Somalia in the fight against terrorism.
According to the statement from the Embassy, the US government would not relent in helping Somalia overcome violent terrorism and extremism.
